Hi all I am 8 weeks pregnant just been discharged from our IVF clinic and I have tested positive for Covid. This is the first time I have had Covid I feel like crap and am worried what effects this might have on the pregnancy. Anyone else been in this situation and have any advice?

Covid-19
Drink lots of water and rest up. You should check what drugs you are allowed to take too. I had covid during my 2ww which was awful, I was so worried that my coughing was going to disrupt implantation. I did lots of googling that told me that coughing can't hurt the baby which made me feel better. Hope your symptoms aren't too bad and you feel better soon!
My acupuncture lady said the key thing with Covid is to rest much more than you think you need and for much longer. She wasn't happy with me returning to normal life (even light jogging, or normal activity like going to see my parents or going to the office) for 2+ weeks after I felt I'd recovered. So just settle in to really rest for a couple of weeks. Feel better soon!
Take it easy - drink plenty eat little and often and rest as much as you can . If hot have cool bath - paracetamol will also help bring temp down - for cough hot lemon drink . It will get easier .Take care
