hi would like to know if 2nd child is nhs funded . I have last embryo to transfer but nhs said it would be self funded as I already had one successful transfer . Any thoughts ?
2nd child nhs: hi would like to know if... - Fertility Network...
2nd child nhs
hi yes that’s correct if you had success with a transfer any subsequent transfers would be self funded. X
Fertility treatment varies from area to area - postcode lottery Take a look at our website fertlitynetworkuk.org Access Support then scroll to NHS Funding to find Fertility Mapper then follow the prompts
Take care

no sorry once you have a child you are no longer eligible for nhs funding. I know funding varies across the UK but that one is pretty standard so you pay for anything after your first child, even if it’s a FET from your nhs cycle xx
100% self funded, doesn’t matter where you live for that.
Hey, the only area to transfer all resulting embryos despite if you have a live birth or not is Vale Royal (Northwich) as far as I know x
Yep self funded... Us infertile tax payers are only allowed one child according to the NHS 🙄
