Very confused about dates....

I am due to have an early scan which would be approx 7 weeks from the first day of my last period, but considering I conceived 2 weeks after the 1st day of my last period, does this mean I am having the scan too early to hear a heartbeat?

I don't want to cause myself unnecessary stress with a scan that is too early....

Any advice from anyone? So confused about how they date the pregnancy.....

Pregnancy is dated from the first day of your last period so you’re 7 weeks pregnant. That should be sufficient time to see a heartbeat etc for most people xx
