Hi fellow ivf warriors

My husband and I have been on our fertility journey for the past 3 years. I have lost 5 stone to get my BMI to target my body fat percentage is less than 25% percent. Now mostly muscle but because of the BMI rule of 30.0 the NHS funding won’t be authorised until that box is ticked. My worry is that if I loose more weight I’ll feel unwell. I have been training and tracking food for 3 long years and I’m stuck at 31 BMI and it will not shift. Bearing in mind when we started my BMI was 44.

We have made the decision to look at private clinics in Glasgow. We are currently patients of Glasgow Royal Infirmary and we thought about starting with their private clinic services

My husband has already had sperm retrieval surgery in September 2020 and they successfully collected 7 straws with good motility and count.

Has anyone has experience of switching to private if so I would love to hear your experiences and any advice would be greatly appreciated! ❤️❤️❤️

I have! I’m not sure if you are allowed to talk about private clinics by name so I’ll PM you. 😀
