So just wanted to give a bit of an update...I had my egg collection yesterday and well we only retrieved 5 but that’s good for me as I wasn’t expecting many at all with my low AMH. They ended up having to do ICSI as well because my husbands sperm sample was lower than they wanted it to be (mixture of stress and being ill recently I reckon) so we came away feeling quite philosophical about it all and prepared for the worst if I’m honest. Anyway we have had a call this morning and 3 have fertilised well and apparently are of excellent quality so far! I’m shocked and happy and emotional! They are in the embryo scope now cooking away and I’m just hoping for the best! This will be the longest 5 days of my life I think!
I am booked in for a Tuesday transfer so hoping it all goes to plan!
Has anyone else got success stories for ICSI?
Xx

Ahh thank you, I’m not losing hope yet and trying to stay positive!
My AMH level was 4 and I have been having my treatment at Leeds Fertility. They have been really good so far but this is our first try so will know more after Tuesday which is our transfer day!
How many attempts have you had? Any experience with ICSI?
Hello ! Seems they have been very good . My AMH is 9.7 but I dad only 3 eggs collected and 2 fertilised. One was top quality, one average and they discard the average one . The top quality was 3 days transfer. I had only one attempt , no ICSi , normal IVF.
I start my cycle by taking progynova, not sure why they prescribed as it does reduce the follicles number .
You had a really good number ! Fingers crossed! Hope will work for you till the end !
I am on my second day of stimulation for the 3rd round but this time on a private clinic. Doctor asked me to do twice AMH test she didn’t believe that it was right 😁 as I didn’t had many eggs.
I know the feeling, experienced myself. I seen my first positive test when I was about to put it on the bin as the line was so faint I didn’t even noticed a second line 😁, plus trigger shot ruined all my happiness (it wasn’t going out of my body)
