Hi Chloe I’ve also had two ectopic pregnancies and need ivf. I just had my consultation and scan recently and luckily met all the criteria for ivf. At the consultation I was surprised by the three people in the room! They asked me about the previous pregnancies, any medical issues and about periods/cycles so make sure you have all this information with you. They told me my blood test results and did the scan but they didn’t really go into detail. If you’d like to compare those hospitals there’s a comparison feature on the hfea website. If you even need to vent let me know. Also if you go on the fertility network website there’s a series of recorded webinars you can. A couple have been on diet and lifestyle and worth a watch X
Hi Chloe, that's really a great news...hugs for you! Sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancies though... that's something which may or may not have an underlying reason really. So maybe that was just a odd chance in your TTC.... it's good that you move onto IVF. I know a lot of women even you might be a little worried about the outcome but the best way to go for a IVF is to go for it optimistically. So no matter what do not let your optimism fade away... everything else will fall in place right way. Also, if PCOS has been the only factor contributing to your infertility then you can be a little less worried as it's though is one of majour causes of infertility it's not really the one with the hard way. Another things that you can do to prepare for IVF in general is make a healthy lifestyle switch. Also you can include some Spa or Accupuncture to relax and undo the anxiety that's very very important for success and even after it thoughout the gestation.
Wish you all the luck in the world for finding success with IVF.
