My understanding is no, CT does not show cirrhosis, it's used for tumor detection, which I have yearly. Don't panic on your liver size but get it down by diet and exercise. Mine was about your size but is back to normal size with mild fat. However, an enlarged liver can cause damage called fibrosis which caught early can heal but if untreated that damage can turn to cirrhosis. I would see a Hepatologist and get some other testing to see where you might fall but meantime do what you can to make the liver more healthy. Good luck.

I would ask a doctor that. I know an ultrasound can show it. Not real sure about ct.
