Latest liver ultrasound

I went to Duke for my six month ultrasound and bloodwork. It appears all is stable with my cirrhosis. Still well compensated and no signs of portal hypertension, ascities, etc. Liver blood numbers are good. Kidney function tests were way off, but with high diuretic doses and heart problems, that’s become the new focus. We’re hoping I was just very dehydrated. But, it appears my new Tricuspid heart valve that replaced my old one that caused the cirrhosis is working like it should and my liver is behaving. Prayers appreciated for my kidneys now.

Duke is great. I’m thinking of you here in Nashville. Vanderbilt stinks lol

Thank you, Nibby. My kidney numbers were much better today! I love the Drs and nurses at Duke. First class. I’m blessed we live so close. Only a couple hour drive. We go up the night before, have all tests early the next morning, see the dr a couple of hours later and all test results are ready to discuss during the appointment.
