Hello!

How long would take the improvement/reversal of the liver fibrosis?

Considering that you are on the right track: diet, loosing weight etc

Thank you!

It's a question without a clear answer. It depends on your degree of fibrosis, the length of time your liver has been exposed to inflammation, your body's metabolic state, and many factors that even doctors don't have completely clear. But you can halt the progression of the disease by eliminating the root cause, exercising, eating healthily, and properly managing diabetes or hypertension if they are present. I believe that's the most we can do, and it's a lot.

So how can I find out what caused it? I feel like I'm in a strange position because I'm not really overweight at all. I was slightly overweight. I eat alot less and I've dropped about 15 pounds but I was never that obese to begin with. I don't eat perfect but I'm consuming much less fat. I consumed more alcohol than I should have before diagnosis. Now I consume none, not a drop. I just wish I knew the exact culprit.
