I have just currently been introduced to this term. Never heard it before. Has anyone had personal experience with this or close knowledge of what it is and what it might mean for us with fatty liver. Thanks

No that is new one for me, I go see my hepotoligist next month for annual fibroscan I will see if I get same description!!!
Haven’t heard that particular terminology but is that what insulin resistance is? Or maybe has to do with metabolic syndrome? I have hypertension, high cholesterol, T2D, insulin resistance, obesity, hypothyroidism. I’ve never been able to lose weight easily and even when I lose it, my blood sugar and cholesterol levels are high unless I take medication. Sounds like I may have this “fat out impairment”.
it’s called inherited lipid metabolism disorder … it prevents the body from braking down lipids and those who have it must eliminate fat from their diet.
