I was have stomach distended and my sides were cramping. My stomach got big like a hard basketball. I've had a full trunk ultrasound and some bloodstone done and looked at a web page for info on NAFLD. I found a blog post that listed what I have to do and eat too reverse my NAFLD before it is too late. I've been eating right and get 1/2 cup authentic olive oil a day and no dairy(some feta cheese), no salt(1500mg or less), no white flour, no fat and no sugar. My stomach deflated, I list 20lbs and now looking to still improve and lose another 80-90 lbs.

Hi Old

It sounds like you are making good progress. Glad to know that and having your ascites reduce is a blessing no doubt. It isn't easy. We are all different, of course, and that 1/2 cup of olive oil may be a good fit for you, but for most people we suggest 1/4 cup. The olive oil is very important but that is a lot of calories so food for thought.

Yes! Lots of calories! However, they are the only calories I eat. My heart doc thought 1/2 cup was great! I did notice an uptick in my cholesterol... I've had to cut down to 4 eggs a week
