I am truly sorry for your confusion and dismay. Unfortunately I’ve found over the years that many medical professionals don’t really talk with their patients. They will tell you the truth - but often that’s about it. I’ve found this site to be invaluable to me for real talk about your liver and possibly even some understanding of what is not being said by your medical professionals.
I think first and foremost if you have questions about the questionable outcome of your previous results - get another test done. I know medical deductibles can be more than overwhelming but it’s your life and your call. If you feel the results are not correct it is important that you start the process of taking care of yourself first - you only get one chance at this. If it turns out a second result is the same as the first great, you can mark that one off the list for now.
All my best -

Hi Robyn
The 400 in the first test is the highest the machine can show and indicates that it was not a valid test. The low values on the 2nd test are a surprise. There is a way you can check. You probably have your blood tests. You need your ALT, AST, and platelet count then go here to find a calculator that will calculate the probability of whether you have advanced fibrosis. If the value is low you should believe the 2nd test. If not ask more questions.

Hi Robyn
Can't guess what else is going on but 400 is this highest that score can go and indicates that the test was faulty which is why the second was done.
