I have NAFLD/NASH stage 1 fibrosis and the best thing to do is diet and exercise. I read books about fatty liver and found that eating mostly vegetables, no fried or sugary foods or sweet drinks, plus no whites (bread, flour, rice, or cows milk). Pretty much living as if you were diabetic, but not really diabetic. The liver can’t tell the difference between sugar and artificial sweeteners. Supposedly hard for liver to digest. I’m morbidly obese at 260 lbs (18.57 stones). Very hard for me to lose weight, but swapping for healthy foods has brought my enzymes into a healthy range.

Good luck!
