Are SSRIs harmful to the liver?

I’ve had NAFLD for a few years now and I’ve been having a bit of tenderness down on my liver lately. I also noticed I have 3 dry skin spots that won’t go away. One by my neck, my armpit, and one by my elbow. Could my anti depressants be making my NAFLD worse? I have a doctors appointment this coming week but trying to gauge the general crowd. In terms of fitness, I’ve gotten in shape ever since I was diagnosed with NAFLD I’ve dropped 60+ lbs. I am 135 lbs and 5’7ish, and in great shape, I go to the gym at least 4 times a week.

I thought my Prozac was affecting my liver I went off of it to experiment I was off for 6 months and my enzymes stayed slightly out of range. So for me that’s not the thing bothering my liver.

damage isn't common but has happened, some report up to 3% of patients but usually lower. Here is some general discussion
