Google "Fatty Liver Recipe Book" and you will find 100 cookbooks, many you can probably take out and look at for free from your local library. Good luck!
When I was first diagnosed with cirrhosis, I had limited energy for new recipes. I would buy broccoli slaw at the store and use it for stir fry. I fried on a lower heat until the veggies were almost done. I fortunately like sardines and would get those at Costco for less than the store. I prefer the ones in olive oil. I use a low sodium, gluten free Amino that is like soy. Some herbs like turmeric, etc. can help give more flavor.
I also bought Coleslaw to use as a base for store fry. And sometimes used chicken breast. This was my lunch for a solid year. A couple of handfuls of veggies cooks down. My energy level is so much better this year.
Another favorite: I have a fried egg, one piece of toast (mine is gluten free) Spread guacamole on the toast, place cooked egg on top, with more guacamole on the side. I get the individual packets of guacamole.
Now I am ready to read those cookbooks that have been resting on the shelf. Get a few basic recipes and use those as a base. Find out what you like. This is a journey.
Do you mind giving us the name brand of the low sodium amino acid that you are using? And how you utilize into your diet? Thanks!
thank you for sharing!!❤️
My go to meal is steamed tofu, steamed broccoli, and sautéd or raw mung bean sprouts. I make a sauce with organic extra virgin olive oil, apple cider vinegar, reduced sodium soy sauce, a dash of hot sauce, and minced garlic and ginger, with turmeric and black pepper. I have it every night for dinner.
well I have been doing real good in reversing my fatty liver and decreasing my fibrosis with exercise and a low carb diet. I eat some vegetables, strawberries, blue & blackberries, I eat chicken, fish & ocasional lean pork. I don't eat any potato, rice, pasta, bread, or sugar, I only drink black coffee, tea (no sweetner) and about 135 oz of water a day. I am limited to 30 carbs,135 gr of protein,80gr of fat a day.I only use almond or coconut flour or coconut oil, I eat alot of eggs fixed many ways, I eat some hard cheese, not much prepared meats. look into Diet Dr.com for recipes for low carb & keto diets.
