enlarged liver - it is about size.

Fatty liver - increased echogenity (typical homogenous). The surface is brighter than spleen.

Did you have an ultrasound? What was size? Mine was 24.5 cm in January but after losing 40 pounds and another US is was normal and my liver is mildly fatty but it was before by US. So I am not sure what made it inflame!

There are multiple problems that can cause the liver to enlarge. Inflammation and infection for example so while a fatty liver does get bigger it isn't diagnostic.
