Fatty liver language, HELP!

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone can make sense of my report. The doctor just said to loose 5 kg and didn’t really elaborate on the language used in the report. Is this very serious? I’ve stopped drinking alcohol and am eating a more healthy diet. Anything else I can do?

Thanks

Well fatty liver NAFLD in most cases has good prognosis (simple NAFL for NASH it can be more serious). Changing life style is key factor here (as your doctor advice).

Sometimes some doctors check FIB-4 and if is it high or indeterminate they might want further tests (fibroscan for example). But follow your doctor first.

So I think nothing to be scared of but I think you should not totally ignore it and take actions.
