CAP and E score meaning

I saw someone else post, so thought I coukd learn more by posting mine.

On 5-31-2019

Iqr: 14, CAP 291, E 13.4.

THEN ON 11-21-2019

IQR: 38. CAP 295, E 12.8

Can anyone explain these two and what the difference means?

Hi Moon, the CAP is an indication of fat content so not much change. The E is stiffness, an indication of fibrosis, which suggests that it might have improved a bit so what you are doing may be helping you but it is a slow process. Talk to your doctor about it as we can't really tell you much but the on the surface the numbers are hopeful but may not be the whole story so ask your doc.

Thank you! It's more than any doctor has ever said to me. I mailed printouts of the results to my new, ha, liver doctor. Its almost been a year since my original visit. Getting nowhere fast!!

I guess I need to try harder! But you give me hope that I'm not getting worse!
