New confirmation

I have recently had confirmation following a fibroscan that I am C3/F4. There has been ultrasound evidence for some time of fat in the liver but now I know that by NAFLD has progressed. I am awaiting the letter from my consultant with possible inclusion in current trials in Nottingham. My LFTs are normal.

It sounds like you are in the group that they are currently recruiting for trials. Good luck.

Unfortunately ultrasound is not all that useful when diagnosing liver disease - - and that includes cirrhosis. Finding a living sapien sapien without fatty infiltration, assuming a western diet, is becoming increasingly more difficult. Thankfully mine is easily diagnosed.
