Just wondering if anyone has knowledge about taking Vitamin E if you have diabetes? I am on metformin for diabetes "no insulin ". Also anyone given Pentoxifylline -trental to help with fibrosis? I thought I read diabetes should not take Vitamin E....my gastroenterologist Physicians assistant prescribed both of these for me. I asked about the Vitamin E and the physicians assistant hesitated and told me oh you can take Vitamin E if you're diabetic....wasn't convinced she hesitated before answering my About Vitamin E. Thanks

thats the problem with superspecialists. dont bother.
diabetics can take vitamin e in moderation which helps in reducing leg cramps as aside effect of metformin.
there are no contraindications for its use.
