I have had this strange "full...somethings not right" feeling in my stomach region (under diaphram but middle and on my left side for over 1.5 years. It had been mostly off and on, urgent care, ER, drs...colonoscopy when an endoscopy would have been more logical per area of "uncomfortableness". Just recently saw my new PCP because this was accompanied with crazy bruising, mostly on my abdomen and she did blood panel and ordered an ultrasound to check organs. I got a call back on July 11, after all was processed and dr said you are pre-diabetic, your cholesterol is a little high and you have a fatty liver. Another ultrasound is being scheduled to see exactly what stage I'm in...though from what I've researched since, I have a few "late stage symptoms". I've had to shake myself out of feeling like this is all so surreal and start to take action. Research, research, research, change diet...clean out the pantry, fridge and freezer and exercise, exercise, exercise. My husband and I have recently adopted a newborn and I have so much to live for...I'm not done yet!!!

You have enough symptoms to take this seriously. Ultrasound is not a good tool for diagnosis of fibrosis. You should try to see a hepatologist if you can. PCP docs are rarely trained to diagnose liver disease. There is a lot of information on our website that might help your research fattyliverfoundation.org/
