No, it is not good for the liver. I love liver and onions and fixed it for dinner. After eating my liver (stage 4 NASH) ballooned up and had some discomfort 'cause it was pushing against my scar tissue from gallbladder surgery which was done years ago with a huge incision. My Dr. explained to me that liver has a high amount of salt plus it's really difficult for the liver to process. I figure if my liver swells up and I have some discomfort I no longer eat what caused the problem. This walk we are all on is a challenge ! This site is extremely helpful ! Blessings to you on this journey.
Any organ foods should be avoided, I don't know why they should, but I read it a few days ago.
