Some information from a survey of health care professionls is interesting. Doctors all know that the public has almost no good knowledge about liver disease.
Do you agree with that? Also, have you ever received poor information from the medical profession?

I would agree that many doctors know very little about NAFLD or NASH. I saw a Neurologist yesterday about another matter. I asked him about follow up I should do to monitor it. He said...oh don't worry about it. Your latest liver panels are great and your ultra sound did not show any inflammation, or scarring of the liver, you are not obese. ( (I am 35 lbs over weight) I wouldn't give it a second thought! You're fine!
They are the ones who need more knowledge. I haven't been able to get a decent or straight answer from ANY healthcare provider, including any of the gastroenterologist "experts"
