Is any one planning to do any fasting this month. Does anyone live the intermittent fasting life style is any one following OMAD?

Hey everyone - fasting plans
I eat when I am hungry and there is suitable food. Mostly that's one or two meals a day, but yesterday I woke up hungry and had breakfast then lunch. Then dinner 😋
If I am away from my house, I typically have one meal, but if I have a reason to stop for groceries, I am likely to snack on cheese on the way home.
I don't really have a regular practice of longer fasts at the moment. Not really feeling it, I guess.
What are your plans?
Hi Subtle_badger
I am considering living an intermittent fasting life style. I stop eating at 6pm every day to help with my sleep and digestion. I plan to start eating at 12pm but lately being in the house has changed my routine. I am coming hone after my run or walk and having breakfast as early as 7.30 and I can feel the difference in my health. I am wanted to do a longer fast with someone who is willing to join me and encourage me - a 72 hour fast will be good.
Good morning, all. I am a 73-year-old man. I have fasted on and off since June 2018 after noticing adverse effects of prescribed medicines. Mostly I stick to OMAD and am on a ketogenic diet, once a year I will do a 72 hr fast. My last prolonged fast was as recent as this past week, 42:30 hrs. I have always been a glutton and do give in if what comes to the table is good and delicious. I enjoy cooking for myself. Thanks to the excesses I contracted T2D (diagnosed in 2014) and 2 coronary interventions (2018). I am convinced that the results of my on/off regimen have improved my general health and fortified my immune system. I do take vitamin and mineral supplements. In my search for help I follow, Dr Mindy Pelz, Dr Jason Fung, Dr Eric Berg, Dr Sebastián La Rosa, and others. I wish you all well.
Hi, GeorgeCarmody , welcome.
I am a 72-year-old man - it is nice to know that I am not the only elderly gentleman here.
I am convinced that the results of my on/off regimen have improved my general health and fortified my immune system and improved my life-expectancy. I too advocate Dr Jason Fung.
Hey George Carmody,
I have been fasting for some years too. I have not tried the OMAD yet. But I think In the long run, this may be the approach for me. I love food, but I want to eat it not cook it. I became a vegan two years ago, I have found this change has helped me to control my hunger but I only realised recently that sometimes I emotionally eat which I think is lethal for my health and weight. I recently made a solemn promise to myself witness by everyone in here to walk not eat when I feel emotional and my life is changing dramatically. I too follow Dr Jason Fung, Dr Berg, not my favourite (worth watching interview with him and jo Rogan) but I will look the others up.
have you watched Game changers? On Netflix this changed my whole outlook on food.
Sorry for rambling😳
I usually eat breakfast at about 10:00, and lunch at about 12:00 - so not far short of OMAD. I will be doing a 6 -day Autophagy fast at the end of the month.
