I think that Intermittent Fasting is a misnomer - and people think it is extreme or dangerous.
"Not Eating All Day" means what it says - and does not seem to be extreme or dangerous. NEAD does not include 5:2, 4:3 or ADF... but, if calling IF NEAD helps get people started working towards 16:8... would it not help?
A 21-day Water-Fast is extreme... and should not be undertaken without medical supervision, but we do not 16:8 "tarred with the same brush"?

I have started intermittent Fasting recently 😊It’s 5th day today. As far as I know our body needs adjustment with new time table or routine for eating.Usually I feel hungry around 8.30- 9.00 in the morning but then I am fine until lunch time.I eat my meal around 12 to 12.30 and evening meal around 5.00p.m.I am absolutely fine with it & my visceral fat has gone down which is great for me.
We have to listen to our body & do whatever is best for u.Every individual is different & only person who can judge is yourself & it depends on lifestyle as well.
By doing IF my liver is getting some rest 😊😊from digesting food which I put in my mouth whole day😊.
