Day 14 on movicol

Hi

Eric advised us to ask for movicol for our 5 year old who has never been been dry. He pooed daily but also wets daily.

We are day 14 up to 8 sachets and for the last 3 days we have had pure liquid poos ( sometimes bits of food) but it’s more like milkshake or gravy not “ rusty water” - ie it’s thicker than water but liquid

Can someone please help explain exactly what we are looking for - does it need to be almost clear. This is the only picture I have and not the best.

We think we are there and keen for him to go to maintenance and not miss the first few days of the first term.

Ideally you want watery stools with no lumps consistently. It should look like tea without milk. After two weeks of disimpacting you can request a stimulant laxative to help with the regime.

Not what you're looking for?
