Oxybutynin bed wetting

Hi, my 5year old son started oxytrol patches for an overactive bladder 5 weeks ago. Things aren't perfect but have definitely improved. But the biggest change has been in the last 7 days 5 of them he has woken up with an almost dry nappy. I've been weighing them as its so hard to tell today there was only 2ml. His whole life he has woken up and the nappy is soaked. Is it common for oxybutynin to improve bed wetting or is this perhaps the start of him him developmentally growing out of it?

my son became dry after starting oxybutinin. Positives are now he will wake if he needs a wee too. He had a medication change to tolterodine and wet in the night for 4 days over the changeover. Then back to dry.
