movicol for 10 weeks old. Suggestion please

Gp prescribed movicol half satchet for my 10 weeks old. Her poo frequency went from once in 3 days to 7 days going without poo. She is mostly formula fed with breast milk. Any experience with movicol at this early age and how long to use? Within 2 hours of giving first dose of movicol she passed soft stool.

1s she's on solids prunes/ juice will help very small amounts. Fibre will help if you start now, she won't need the movicol forever, also milk can cause constipation, maybe small amounts of luke warm water will help. Harder to know with babys. See what health visiter say's their their to help.
