Help! Did anyone ever reach full disimpaction?

Hi, we’re two weeks into disimpaction with my 10 year old. He’s on 12 Movicol’s a day and 5ml Senna. We were seeing type 7 thick gravy type poos but then we’ve had a type of 4/5s and then back to 7. Had anyone had success achieving rusty brown water. It seems like a mythical unicorn to achieve at the moment! 🦄

Increase the senna. It can take a good while to reach disimpaction I'm afraid. Keep going

Thanks will try that, what dose worked for your child? It’s so hard, I honestly didn’t think, it would take this long, he’s missed so much school already.

Working upto the maximum dose was essential for our successful disimpaction.

Thanks and how long after doing the max dose did you reach the rusty tea colour
