Another update

So after the afternoon at the Children’s Assessment unit earlier in the week from which we were just sent home, we had days of pain.. worsening significantly yesterday and today.. my daughter has ended up being readmitted from A&E. Abdominal xray done this evening, potentially ultrasound scan tomorrow.

Hey, how is your daughter getting on? Did the scans show anything helpful about what might be going on for her?

We're still in hospital, so she ended up getting Xray yesterday and Ultrasound Scan late today here and we had to postpone our private appointment. No issues identified with bowel or impaction. Pain continues to worsen, she's on morphine now. Should be seeing gastroenterology team tomorrow. Thanks for asking.

Bit of a random non medical guess but I suffered from gallstones a few years ago.....the most painful condition I have ever experienced. Only IV morphine eased the pain at times until I had my gallbladder removed.

They've checked gall bladder apparently- although waiting on full scan report.
