Currently our son is in pull ups but they leak at night.
Consultant team haven't got to the bottom of the daytime wetting either.
We feel like we are trying to manage the situation on our own, and yesterday me and his dad discussed whether to go back to using a buzzer to try and get him to be more independent to go to the loo in the night otherwise will he be like this into his teens (he's 11 now). He sleeps in our room so it would rely on us to get him up as he sleeps deeply. So we might go from one bed change a night to multiple wakings/wet bedding.
I'm not keen but his dad wants to try and tackle it. We have been trying to help him with day/night time wetting since he was a toddler.
Anyone got any thoughts?
I know usually docs try to get daytime wetting treated first then move onto night time. He's on laxido and solifenicin but daytime he wets up to 20 times a day.
Feel like the washing machine is always on and I'm at my wit's end!

Stella he has complex SEND. I would appreciate not being judged without knowing our situation. That's not why people come to this forum, we have enough on our plates. If you have nothing useful to say, then don't bother.
Hi - my heart goes out to you!! I’m no expert on night wetting as I have always just focused on trying to solve the day time stuff but my gut reaction is that the buzzers aren’t really going to help you as there is clearly an underlying reason why he is wetting so much day and night. Do you lift him? I know that’s not advised but if you did wake him at the same time each night he could have a wee and change the full pull up to try and give you the best chance of a full nights sleep and a dry bed in the morning. And be a bit more independent if that’s what you want to achieve.
More broadly, where are you with advice on what’s going on? (Sorry if you have said this in other posts). My daughter wets day and night from what’s in her bowel pressing on her bladder. She’s just been switched onto a tablet stimulant (alongside her movicol and instead of her sodium pico) and we’ve had some dry nights for the first time in months because she has the tablets first thing and then gets a blast out 6-8 hours later meaning her bowel is actually empty ish at night. It sounds to me like you might have an overactive bladder as well - have you been treated for that too?
