Hello all, my autistic son just turned 17 and is wet every night. We’ve been to the hospital about it and they did blood tests, scans, the lot but couldn’t find any obvious issues. He did have a virus last May and they think it might of attacked his sphincter as he has a hard time holding wee full stop, hence why we get fat leaks as well. I was just wondering it anyone knew of any good overnight nappies? He’s quite skinny and he normally fits smaller sized anyway. Also If you have any suggestions for a day nappy as well as his leaking is getting worse over the course of a whole day!
Thanks a lot!

Hi. My son is also 17, Autistic and incontinent. He has always used Tena Pants plus pull ups which also come in other levels of absorbency. We are supplied with a set amount from our local NHS continence service and any more needed are funded by ourselves. I generally check the various sites on the internet to see who is selling at the best price each time. Have a look at the men's products on tena.co.uk
My granddaughter is back in nappies full time, she wears the new tesco junior plus nappies and they have been great so far.
She was using pullups during the day and tena slip at night but since tesco launched more absorbent junior nappies I've been buying them and there better than the tenas.
Hello thank you for the reply, I will look into the Tesco junior nappies as he doesn’t mind what he wears as long as it’s absorbant enough overnight. We haven’t had a very good experience with pull ups and I’ve heard that nappies are better for overnight!
