Bed wetting

My 8 and a half year daughter is wetting the bed constantly. Until recently she would twice in the night. In the last two months, she stopped wetting the bed ( if I take her to the toilet for a dream wee around 11 pm), but she started having terrible nightmares. She wakes up screaming at 2-3 am and calling me, and when she is fully awake she realises she needs the toilet. Did anyone else experienced anything like this? I should mention that she is terrified of the dark and she sleeps with a night lamp and also that my room is next to hers. I am and always was very supportive in all this as I know she is a anxious child in general and I always tried to reassure her. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
