My daughter that is 5 is extremely impacted and i was wondering how long the process would take. I have heard from a friend that it only took a day for her child to be done but i also heard from a different friend that it took a week.
Also tmi warning how much poop would there be because she is not potty trained as i want to know if she could go to per school or not.

Hi! I think it really depends on how bad the backup of poo is tbh. I was worried when we hadn’t had a lot of action at day 7 of disimpaction as I had read & been told by gp that she would probably be disimpacted after a week. It ended up taking us 14 days with my 3 year old with Senna added on day 10. Maybe it might be worth a trip to the gp?
Thanks, She is very backed up( doctor said that she looked just like the one on the right pic link infomediasolutions.medicali... ) and we are on day 4 of the dissimpaction and nothing has come out of her yet.
I booked a trip to the gp, we are going two days and if she dose not poop until we go it will be 6 weeks since she had last gone poop. I am worried because once i was constipated for 3 weeks and when i went it hurt so much,I cant think of the pain that she has to go thru. No wonder she was holding it in.
For my 12 year old daughter that was severely impacted it took about 2 weeks. The first week and a bit was nothing but one day everything came out in one sitting. My daughter was in bad pain as it had been 4-5 weeks since she had last went. She got a fissure because the first piece was 3.5 inch's wide. Also she filled the toilet with poop so i would watch out if it all comes out in one sitting.
