Hi everyone

My daughter is 9 years old and has an ace stoma since she was 5 years old. She is undiagnosed. It has been a very long journey and we struggle most days with her washouts.

Hi Kelly - are you getting help and support? Our issues are different to yours - but if it helps one thing I've learnt is that you have to keep asking if you aren't getting the right help. All the best Ali

Thank you for your reply. The short answer is no.. no support or help I think the hospital are at a loss and they are unsure what to do next it's just awful worst feeling ever watching your child struggle xx

oh poor you, yes I can imagine how horrible that is for you when you're worried about your daughter. Sounds really hard.

I suppose I'd be wondering who you could speak to and talk about what you're going through just now - the eric helpline? Or another support group? Sounds like some support from someone who's been there might be really great and they could maybe even give you some ideas to take back to the hospital maybe.
