ED Injectible drugs?

New here.....

My Urologist prescribed an ED injectible drug called TriMix. I have learned that is has a 60-day shelf life...costs $145 for 10 ml (number of doses varies per individual)...or $105 for 5 ml? (Go figure) Of course, it is not covered by insurance. So a company on-line (Olympia Pharmacy - based in Orlando, FL) says they have a formulation of the Rx that they claim lasts 1 year. I have asked for pricing info. and whether they add anything to prolong the life of the formulation. Does anyone have experience with this company for this drug?

I think all trimix is the same. Best storage is in a freezer. I would remove the vial, warm it under running water till thawed. Fill my syring, then put it back in the freezer. Have heard it will last 6 months this way. I know it will last 90 days.

Viаgra without a prescription - onlinecheappills.com I received the order and it was on time and the pills work great.

Unless they are having you reconstitute new prostaglandin E1 into every injection or batch I don’t see how their Trimix will last a year. Prostaglandin E1 is one of the ingredients of Trimix and it is the one that deteriorates the fastest once reconstituted, even in the most ideal conditions 90 - 120 days is max.

Start out with 5 milliliters and then work up. I have to have at least 20 to make it work. If you put too much in then you need to have to go to the hospital because you have a hard-on for for 5 hours

A remedy for trimix induced priapism is listed on the Sloan-Kettering website. Says to take 4 sudafed pills.

Super unlikely to work according the ER that treated my last priapism.

Just reporting what I read on their site relating to trimix injections:

WHAT?? 5 ml of trimix is 10 X the common dose. Decimal point incorrect?

Vitruviusman profile image
Vitruviusman in reply toBorisbadenough

How much do you inject?

Borisbadenough profile image
Borisbadenough in reply toVitruviusman

usually 0.3ml. My Trimix comes in 5 ml multiple use vials

Vitruviusman profile image
Vitruviusman in reply toBorisbadenough

how long do you stay erect? Does your head of the cock get hard too or remain flacid?

JRPnSD profile image
JRPnSD in reply toVitruviusman

Head also gets hard...part of the same blood increase effect. I use 10nunits of either Tri or BiMix. Tri is achy...Bi is not and just slightly less hard.

Vitruviusman profile image
Vitruviusman in reply toJRPnSD

What does"achy" mean with trimax? What about the thickness or girth of your cock when you put the injection does it get thick?

David1958 profile image
David1958 in reply toVitruviusman

In my case achy means exactly what it says. Surly you have had aches and pains before (muscle)? Too much Trimix does the same thing to your cock. When it goes on for too long it aches. Not a comfortable or amorous feeling at all. No matter how much I used, the head never inflated. Total downer.

Vitruviusman profile image
Vitruviusman in reply toDavid1958

I used the tri-max injections only a few times over 8 years ago. Only remember the head of my cock stayed flaccid and looked strange, with the shafted erect and head soft...looked abnormally shaped. In addition, after using only 3-4 times, I got a hematoma (blood blister) hurt and bled--also not fun or erotic. I needed to know other men's experiences with using these injections to see if my experiences was common or not. I am left with not knowing if I should try these injections again? ANy advice?

JPnSD in reply toVitruviusman

Iprefer the BiMix to the TriMix for the same effect (slightly less hard) but no ache to the 3 hr erection using 10 units. (1/10 of 1 ML insulin type small needle syringe). I use an autoinjector device that diabetics use to hold the syringe and inject. Push button and then SLOWLY inject to avoid hematomas.

Vitruviusman profile image
Vitruviusman in reply toJPnSD

tell me more about this BiMAX and the autoinjector. When you inject and your cock gets hard, and you rub it, can you stroke your cock to orgasm as in normal men?

in reply toVitruviusman

After you inject try to massage or stroke the medication toward your cock head. I do that and I'm hard the full length. I'm not interested in ejaculation as I'm multi-orgasmic and have full body orgasm.

I do miss my big thick cock, and how it felt fully engorged and powerful tool. Lets face it, our cock and balls , are part of our male psyche.. makes sense

in reply toVitruviusman

I wish I had known about BiMix and TriMix long ago I would've been using it then. I absolutely love the feeling of my hard, thick and swollen cock. To stroke, my hard shaft or have sex with someone is such a wonderful feeling.

I'm supposed to inject .20ml, but I usually inject .30ml or .40ml for longer erections.

So boyfox why is the cause of your ED if not prostate cancer. Are you putting us on?

in reply tomisterbarkley

My cause of ED is because of age. Here is a study completed by the Cleveland Clinic.

The study demonstrated that ED is increasingly prevalent with age: approximately 40% of men are affected at age 40 and nearly 70% of men are affected at age 70. The prevalence of complete ED increased from 5% at age 40 to 15% at age 70. Age was the variable most strongly associated with ED.

Yep...my Uro said the same - 30 mg size tablets. There is also an antidote injectible that Uro can order as part of prescription.

I buy my Trimix from a local pharmacy/compounder (30 mg Papaverine HCL, 1 mg Phentolamine MES, 10 mcg Alprostadil per 1 ML). I inject with a 100 unit (1 ML) syringe, my dose is 15 units (0.15 ML). I buy 5 MLs for about $65, which works out to about $2 per injection. I load up about 30 syringes with the 0.15 ML dose from my 5 ML vial and put them all in the freezer. When "the time is right", quick thaw, quick shot, quick hard-on, lasts about an hour.

So when I picked up prescription it was 5 ml ($115 - senior discount). My first .1 ml (10 unit) injection with Dr....gave me an achingly intense hard-on after 20 min. After 1.5 hrs...I took 2 -30 mg.Sudafed for relief. No change at 2.5 hrs...so took 2 more....finally at 4 hours I finally started to deflate. Too hard and too long to be pleasurable.

Did your urologist tell you to discontinue all injections after that experience. Mine did. I had almost the same experience, but with .2 initial dose and only 1 sudafed.

Had exactly the same issue with Caverject injections which contains Alprostadil as working ingredient. Too painful and hard to find a low enough dose.

Switched to Invicorp... Great... No pain 😃 and still very useful erection lasting for 1 to 2 hrs. No Alprostadil in this formulation with Aviptadil and Phentolamine mesilate listed as active ingredients. Can't comment on availability or cost where you are but here in Scotland all prescriptions are free. Has been available for about a year

Thanks...sounds like the difference between what we call TriMix and BiMix formulations.

JRPnSD profile image
JRPnSD

Started with BiMix today...a little less intense erection at same dosage...but no ache. MUCH more comfortable. Since 4 vials of 2.5 ml of BiMix is $175 and 2 are $110...I get the 4 vials and freeze 2. 60 day shelf life in fridge...dispose of vial 30 days after first use to prevent contamination...then start 2nd vial.

I've had my vials last longer than 6 months by freezing them and unthawing them to inject and refreeze the vial.
