Correction auto spell: : 1) yes I would consider applying for a clinical trial with erectile dysfunction medicine 2) easiest way to qualify is to show a medical report that you have the condition. 3) to be notified of these clinical trials could be through many different sources, a) the drug company themselves, b) your physician or urologist, or c) these erectile dysfunction online blogs.
1) Consider? Yes, but I'd want to know a lot about the product being tested to be sure it did not interfere with current procedures, nor replicate past attempts that have failed for me.
2) Initial screening via an on-line questionnaire, but that needs to be followed up by personal analysis. In both the Restore and Canadian (Kings Univ.) studies I would have been rejected by the initial questionnaire, but upon personal inquiry/interview was found acceptable. Which suggests that on-line questionnaires are difficult to construct.
3) Hearing through on-line sources such as Malecare would seem the most effective in reaching a pool of men who already self-select to be seeking cures/relief/support. Presumably some clinics/practices specializing in sexual health/rehab will promote it if it doesn't conflict with their current offerings, but I have little hop that an "average urologist" will have time or inclination to become familiar enough with the trial to bother suggesting a trial to patients.
