I want to see a doctor to get a prescription for Trimix. Simple, right? At least, going by my experience - NO. First off I haven't found a Urologist that is willing to do that - then there are these issues of "In Network", "Out of Network",etc. Today I had an appointment with a Urologist, and when I land at his office, his receptionist says that "ED consultation is not covered by my Insurance". So I ask her how much the consultation would be if I paid on my own. She says " It could be between $ 150.00 to $ 2S0.00" , She says she cannot give me a number because it would be based on medical billing codes.
I now call my insurance company which says that they'll send me a form to be read out by the Urologist to me - and if I qualify based on the information there, they'll cover the consultation fee.
In case you are wondering, I have also written to compounding pharmacies to see which urologist they could refer - Not a happy camper here because they haven't been able to help.
Sorry about this sob story - Just a question here. Based on my harrowing experience, I must ask - Do you know of any Urologist in the Dallas Area that would write out a prescription for Trimix. I'd prefer a doctor where process is simple, and the consultation fee is reasonable.
Thanks in advance for your help!!
