Foods after a seizure

Had a sleep seizure last night. Just in the final steps of recovering but does anyone have any advice on foods to eat after a seizure? I don’t know if it’s the same with others but still feel like vomiting/nausea but I know I have to eat. Any tips?

I have toast or sometimes as strange as it sounds scrambled eggs 🥚 on toast as it helps bind you’re tummy x

Nice! Will try that, next time. I ended up having plain crackers, but it’s nice to know I have other options (and yummier ones too)

Thanks @seddy85!

Enjoy your day :)

I have been lucky I think with the after effects of a fit. I generally have to go and sleep for however long it takes and I have fortunately never had sickness, just this absolutely drained, exhausted feeling.

Hope you recovered ok.

That’s so great! What meds do you take if you don’t mind me asking?

Thanks and I hope you become seizure free and improved health :)

Hi, I am on 150mcg of Levothyroxine daily. So far since they started me on it a few years ago I have had no further fits, so I keep my fingers crossed now.

I hope you get controlled soon too.
