Hi I wanted to know if anybody felt so tired they could sleep all day every day? I've only been diagnosed with endo two weeks ago so very new to it not sure whats symptoms are caused by endo or not.

Hi.

Fatigue is a symptom of Endo and how it effects each person is individual. I too suffer from it, but not to the extent of sleep all day every day. However Most days I am tired and want to sleep, especially if I have been doing something like the cleaning or for a walk.

It may be worth just getting your gp to check your thyroids, in case they are also playing a part in the fatigue? If negative then u know it most likely the endo.

Hope that helps. Best wishes x

Hi, I get extremely tired too, can easily sleep for 12 hours and still feel tired the following day. It is a symptom of endo.

Glad it's not just me that feels like this!

hi, yes is it normal to feel tired a lot. I sleep a lot sometimes to the point that i feel more tired when i wake up.tiredness is not the only symptom of endo if you feel nauseous don't get alarmed because that is also a symptom of endo and there are a lot more symptoms that makes u feel like laying in bed all day. i hope u deal with these symptoms better than i do..wish u all the best :)

hey cejay-wiffen, I feel like this every day. i think it is part of endo; although i dont think it is officially recognised as a symptom. but if you talk to other people on this forum you will see you are not alone in feeling like this xxx

Me too, could sleep for hours, all day, and still be tired. Was like this for a long time before being diagnosed, would go to work (part time ) then all I could do when I got home was crash out on the sofa or go to bed. Weekends were just slept away, but I still felt exhausted. I blamed myself for such a long time, thinking I was weak or being lazy, asking myself, why wasn't I like my 64 year old boss who worked far more hours than me, and would still live a very full social life and busy weekends travelling. I just didn't understand. Now I know about the fatigue related with Endo, I don't feel so "guilty". It can of course also be linked to the depression that sometimes also comes along with Endo. Talk to your doctor, and tell him how much it is affecting your daily life, and it is not normal for you. Take good care. xx
