Does anyone know if you can take cocodimol after you have just taken paractmol as it wasn't effective enough ????

Cocodymol has paracetamol in it - so you need to check the packets of both to calculate how much paracetamol you would then be taking and check the paracetamol to see what the max dose is. Usually there is 500mg of para in each tablet of cocodymol I think.

On a personal note - I did this recently and it didn't do me any harm - for just one dose (ie, one dose of each close together) but I wouldn't make a habit of it as excessive amounts of paracetamol can damage your liver.

Yeah its just my pain has come back and I thought that paractmol would be enough but it turns out i need an extra kick which I know cocodimol does. But I'm trying to stay off it as I was on it for at least 5 months and was starting to get addicted to it but its the only painkiller that works without making me sick. Thank you

u can take paracetamol and ibuprofen an hour or so appart but trust me you cant take cocodamol and paracetamol within 4 hours of each other. iv been in hospital with many paracetamol/cocodamol overdoses.

Oky well I didnt do that anyway, and the doctor has offically put me back on cocodimol which is great, lets see how quick it takes me to get addicated this time. Thanks for your help
