Adenomyosis anyone got it and what are your symptoms?

Morning I have it tbh its the same as endometriosis, pain in low back, constant water infections, moody/ tearful bloated! Shall I go on? Morning omg it's like reading about me! u poor thing but u don't want sympathy! Anyway I've had all ov the above but also now been told I have fibroids n 2 12 cm ovarian cysts caused from the merina coil things got worse for me in oct n nov 12, was admitted to hospital 3 times with kidney/ water infections, I too had laproscopys n got infected! But to say I'm pissed off angry is an understatement as finally they gave me MRI scan after I to had the menapause injections for 3 months made no diff only I was more tearful gained weight n few facial hairs

But I have finally been diagnosed with sever endo which I knew and adynomisosis. But the reason I keep getting Water infections is because I have severe endo around my urethra so I'm having 4-5 hr surgery on 19th feb with a urologist n gyny I'm so scared as I don't really no what to expect! I told them I was scared and they just said ( as I'm not sure if its a hysterectomy) but they said its called a laparotomy which basically means I'm having open surgery with the faith that they do whatever is needed! But I carnt suffer anymore! If I can help u in any other way I will do.xxx

Went for follow up this morning from my lap to excise endo and I mentioned adenomyosis. He seems to think that I havn't got it. Saw mri scan results and my uterus and surrounding layers looks 'normal' said there was nothing in the notes to suggest I have it. Other gynae said from my symptoms. I may have it but if you think they are the same symptoms, who knows. I just hope that this will be the start of 'good new' for me! Can I just mention my symptoms have you got similar? They are dull ache few days after ovulation or sometimes 2days before AF, diarrhoea occasionally (if I've eaten fish from the chippy lol) 2-3 days heavy bleeding, small clots, occasional pain during intercourse. X

Morning I'm so happy u haven't got it, tbh if u have had an MRI scan then it would have defo showed up, sorry have u got endo?? Carnt remember if u said? Cus all ur symptoms relate to that, n yes I get all ov the above, plus I get severe leg pains, like cramp!! N then I get constipation n dioreah!! Bloody great heh the only thing that has really helped me a little is I take declofanac get sweats from taking them, but I would far rather be a sweaty betty?? than suffer so much!!!

Re pain from sex, oh yes I get that during n after that sometimes I feel sick after but it really does sound like u have endo, but u really need answers from ur gyny or get yr gp to write to them. N keep nagging them!xxx

It's just fun, fun, fun living on painkillers isn't it!

Just really hope he hasnt made a mistate, I looked at the mri scans myself too and asked some questions, one was is the layers, (linings) of my womb enlarged and from what I saw and his answers was no it isnt, didnt see any shadowy patches except for the 3 fibroids which I am having taken out in May. Chance of hysterectomy if anything goes wrong and as I want a baby this would devastate my life. Also got endo had it excised in August and got 2 small spots on right ovary and hoping to have it cut out too, chance of loosing my ovary, again will devastate me beyond belief. Also have a 2mm patch on rectum where I think all my pain and symptoms are coming from. Also a risk of a colostomy bag. What a lot I have to look forward to when I wake from anaesthetic. Its not until May but I am beginning to panic now, (lol) well isn't really funny. X
