30 days and nights of literary abandonment

There are just 12 more days until national novel writing month starts. This year I am taking part for the first time because I am just about to take ill health retirement and I wanted something to help me use my time constructively.

What it means - I have to write 50,000 words of unedited text in 30 days. That's around 1,700 words a day! It's spontaneous, creative and exciting!

But a little bit scary too. Let's see what happens....
