sorry to be pain with so many questions but does anyone suffer from endo and bowel disease both at the same time?

meaning bleeding from back during periods. as this is what i'm suffering and hav been told i hav developed bowel dis at the same time. can anyone help pls?

Erm.....I know I'm not a Dr or anything but I have a few friends who have endometriosis inside the bowel and if you're only bleeding from there when on a period I would think it's endo rather than bowel disease :/ I'd go back to the GP and ask about endo inside the bowel, good luck, sorry to hear about this, endo really is a nasty disease x

I have rectal bleeding with each period and was told as the bleeding only happens then it probably means there's endo in the bowel. Have you had any investigations done such as a colonoscopy? As missteal said I would definitely go back to your GP because rectal bleeding is something that needs checking out. Also if you know for sure what's going on you can manage it better. Hope it all gets sorted x

i suffer from endo and have also the symptoms of IBS. It happens sometimes that during the period i bleed from the back. It is linked with an hemorroid that is under a lot of pressure due to my swollen up retro -reversed uterus during the first days of period. Have you checked that possibility? lola (paris)
