Is labour pain a lot worse than a ruptured endometrioma/ovarian syst? Anyone who have experienced both please let me know your thoughts.

Had a 5cm endometrioma deep in ovary and ruptured 3 times each time pain so bad was vomiting and needed morphine and A&E and overnight stay. Not sure if just got crap pain threshold!

I would say they are two completely different types of pain. I've had 2 children and labour is by far the most painful thing I've ever experienced. What people seem to forget is that labour pains only last between 20-30secs every 5-10mins so although it is a lot more painful it's not constant and the pain disappears in between contractions. Whereas all the gynea pain I've had continues for a long time so is harder to bear. Does this make sense? lol.

I would rather give birth that have a busts cyst even though in my opinion it's more painful because you know labour will end and at the end of it you get a baby :) hope this is helpful to you x

Having had a ruptured cyst and nasty endo pain I love your comment "I would rather give birth" - I think I might print it and save it for when/if I get pregnant!

Can anyone tell me if they have had bad back and leg pain as well as tummy pain. I am posting for my daughter who is at her wits end .2 cyst

She has had one ovary removed but the remaining ovary is stuck to her bowel with 2 cysts as well....
