Burnin lower back pain. Is this a common symptom?
I suffer really bad in my lower back due to Endo, but this is more aches and pains rather than burning.
Thanks for reply. New to all this, have suffered for years with painful periods but have had no formal diagnosis though endo is suspected. Had an ultrasound about 6 months ago which showed a small cyst on left ovary. Was advised to try the pill back to back for three months at a time but have had to come off that after doc said my bp was too high. Next option is the mirena coil but im aprehensive about side effects. Seem to have pain in lower back (buttock) constantly. THE JOYS!
Hi rina, lower back pain is very common with endo but i also felt it more achey than burning and more in the middle than on the buttocks, yours sounds more like sciatica to me, my husband had a burning feeling in his buttocks but it also travelled down his leg! My sister has been on the marina coil for years with no side effects at all and she doesn't get a period at all so she loves it. everyone reacts different to things so until you try it you won;t know but i would ask about the possibility of your pain in buttock being something else. good luck.
i have back pain 90% of the time, well i have pain all the time in my lower left pelvis and lower left back, i call this my everyday dull ache pain, at least once a week i get chronic stabbing pains and i can barely move - i have no diagnosis of endo but my gp is convinced it is, they have found a large chocolate cyst on my left ovary so i would say that explains all that lower left pain, they found this a couple weeks ago but i have to wait another 8 wks or so for a rescan to see if its grown anymore or if it will rupture - either way my gp will still refer me yet again to gynae xx
I have had alot of feeling like I want to poo. Not good. Stabbing pains. Stabbing cramps in several places. Upset stomach when on a period too.
