If you are taking estrogen based HRT, yes, it can, and it probably will.

Hysterectomy is hardly ever a cure for endometriosis

Chrissie66 is right. the problem is that if the endo is on any other parts ie. the bowel and you get HRT it will feed the endo and it will grow and possibly spread, however if the endo is not anywhere else and when they do a hysterectomy and they leave a cell of endo even the size of a pin head that too will grow. make sure you do all your research and get all your facts together and see what other choices you have. theres a great support group on facebook if you would like to join? the ladies are so helpful and there is always someone on to talk to
