Been diagnosed with endo for 5 years now. Had a laprascopy that didn't get it all, and a mirena inserted and now im on the 12-14 month nhs wait list for a specialist because nothing they've done to stem pain or bleeding is working. It's like I'm immune.
The pain is worsening in my abdomen but it's the dam headaches....I feel like I'm being tagged teamed some days and absolutely nothing but sumatriptan touches the headaches. Downside being I can't take those and the pain relief for my endo so I'm stuck deciding which is worse.....
Any tips for managing the headaches?
It feel like I have one or two a week and sometimes they last days.....

I take Three Arrows simply heme iron repair for low ferritin, I find this helps with the heachaches for me, I think they are low iron from all the bleeding. To get my levels up I took 1 a day for 3 months then reduced to 2-3 a week except when bleeding, 1 a day sometimes 2 to get on top of it. I also eat liver pate a couple of times a week, loads of dark green veg, dark chocolate etc.
Mine are estrogen headaches - think ice pick over top of right eye. They make me nauseous and off balance. The only thing that dulls them but doesn't completely get rid of it is cheap paracetamol with caffeine from the Co-op. For some reason the caffeine really helps. I never get them at night. I wake up with these headaches though xx I'm on zoladex and as it starts to run out the headaches return because my ovaries are waking up x
