Hello I am just wondering I have stage 4 endo and am awaiting a date for surgery. I have ended up with an infection in my burns if the heat pad and have been giving Flucloxacillin to take 4 times a day. But I’m also on pregabalin for the pain. I don’t know if these two are clashing but I have never been in so much pain in my life. I’m due in to see a burn centre tomorrow to get my stomach wrapped properly. But I’m just wondering if anybody has been on both these medications at the same time and has felt worse on both together? Thanks x

I’ve been on both and they definitely didn’t cause more pain for me but everyone is different so they could very well be badly reacting with you. Have you had any allergic reaction? I reacted badly with flucloxacillin (tbf I’ve since developed a penicillin allergy) so that maybe worth looking at changing?

Pregabalin is a very good painkiller from my own experience, but has addictive qualities so that’s something to keep an eye on, too.

I’m so sorry you’re going through so much pain. :( I’d definitely question the meds with your doc as soon as you can.
