PARTICIPANTS WANTED! I would love to hear about your experience with endometriosis. Could you spare 5 minutes to fill out an anonymised survey?

Hi! I'm a university student interested in the various ways endometriosis impacts our mental health and quality of life.

Endometriosis is a chronic condition that is not only under-researched with a general lack of understanding from peers, employers and healthcare workers, but oftentimes people also experience a time delay in getting a diagnosis and treatment plan.

I would love to hear from any individuals with suspected or diagnosed endometriosis to talk more about their experience and fill out a survey or two.

I believe that in-depth research on this topic and its obvious link to mental health outcomes (such as emotional difficulties e.g. feelings of hopelessness, anxiety, depression, time off work) are important issues that would be highlighted by this study.

Research in this topic is so crucial to implementing real-life solutions to these issues; including greater education of the condition and the development of new management strategies as well as continued, long-term study of endometriosis.

Please reply below or message me if you would be interested in helping by completing a one-time confidential, anonymised survey about endometriosis at some point over the next few months.

Feel free to message me with any questions.

I think this is a very important aspect to consider. I am the Grandmother of a young woman with endro. I can see the mental fear that comes with each passing day of her cycle. I can only watch and worry as her power of promotion at work gets thrown away by pain and emotions. We are in Canada but I don't believe there is much difference in the time involved. the powerless pain of searching for treatment and the mental anguish of not being well. It is maddening to watch, knowing that if every man got a shot of this pain each time he got an erection. more would be done to alleviate this truama. I will forward her this link but she is very resistant to accept that help may come through alternate therapies.
